Midwifery chose me, and I’m so glad I didn’t resist.

For more than four decades, women, their babies, and their families have been the heart of my practice. I’m Georgina — a midwife, an IBCLC lactation consultant, a mother of five, and a grandmother to eight.

I started Mumma G Midwifery because I believe every woman deserves care that is truly centred on her. Care that follows you from the very beginning, right through to those tender early weeks at home with your baby.

If you’re looking for a midwife who will genuinely know you, walk beside you, and show up, I’d love to be that person for you.

  • Yes!

If you want to birth in hospital I will support you there.

Sometimes a woman planning a homebirth will choose to transfer from home to hospital. I will still support you in the hospital setting. The transfer decision might be during the pregnancy as care needs change. Transfer to hospital might happen during labour because hospital birth has become the best and safest option for the woman’s baby. We continue to optimise your labour and birth experience on transfer to hospital.

  • Let’s just say I get a lot of pictures of positive pregnancy tests!Contact me as soon as possible as I do book out quickly. Having said that, if your care needs change during pregnancy and you find yourself looking for private midwifery care, it’s never too late to reach out.
